Check the reflections:
Hold your laptop under a light or near a window. If the screen reflects light clearly like a mirror, it’s glossy. If the reflections appear diffused or soft, it’s matte.

Still unsure?
If your screen has a slightly textured surface and resists fingerprints, it's likely matte. Glossy screens feel smooth and glass-like.
